Why We Built This Site
Nebraska provides several public access channels, yet the hard part is knowing which source answers a specific question. Buffalo County booking and warrant information starts with P2C. County Court and District Court preserve filed charges, dockets, and outcomes in JUSTICE. The Nebraska State Patrol maintains the fingerprint-based state repository, while the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services and Nebraska Sex Offender Registry serve separate purposes. We bring the verified contacts, fees, request steps, and official search links into one county-focused reference.
What You Will Find Here
- Case access: how criminal court cases are found and read through Buffalo County clerks and JUSTICE
- Official record review: how the Nebraska State Patrol handles name-based RAP requests and authorized fingerprint checks
- Local contacts: where to reach shared KPD and sheriff Records, the courts, and statewide custodians
- Record relief: how Nebraska set-asides differ from sealing and narrow error-based expungement
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Nebraska court, police department, sheriff's office, or state agency. Our role has firm limits:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot file set-aside, sealing, expungement, or public-record paperwork for you
- We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
- We cannot promise that a government fee, address, or phone number will never change
An official copy must come from its custodian, such as the court, the shared Records Unit, or the Nebraska State Patrol. We can identify the route, but we cannot issue the document.
Search Partners
Search boxes on some pages are supplied by outside providers that operate under their own terms and prices. We may receive a referral fee if a visitor chooses a paid product after using one of those tools. That support helps keep the reference material available without charge. The provider, not this site, controls its service, billing, and results.
